Student Writer Development Program – Creative Writing Workshop

Description

The Chinese Cultural Development Association of Hong Kong (the Association) received support from the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) and funding from the Language Fund to organize the "Student Writers Training Program".

Purpose of the activity: In an interactive and life-oriented way, we can stimulate the interest of primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong in writing and reading, enhance students' creative ability and Chinese application ability, and achieve diversified learning.

Schools are welcome to choose to participate in one or more activities. Our Association warmly welcomes all students to participate in this activity.

Three games in total:

1 Ms. Pan Mingzhu Lecture Topic 1 Children’s Wonderful Writing Let’s come together to write primary school teachers and students November 27, 2024 (Wednesday) 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm

2 Dr. Huang Zihong Lecture Topic 2 How to Create Characters High School Teachers and Students December 4, 2024 (Wednesday) 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm

3Dr. Jin Mengyao Lecture Topic 3 Observation and Creativity Junior High School Teachers and Students December 11, 2024 (Wednesday) 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm

Target: All primary and secondary school teachers and students in Hong Kong

Content: Invite local writers to explain writing skills, appreciation of literature or art, etc. to enhance students’ cultural quality.

Format: Physical and online live broadcast (YouTube)

Participants will receive an electronic "Certificate of Attendance" and a souvenir issued by the Association.
